What if the journey inward is more about visuals, feelings, and awe than you think?
Most people assume a trip is just mental. But what if it's a full-body experience?
Here's what I learned:
Many describe seeing vivid colors or geometric patterns, even if they’re not “visuals” at all.
It’s about how your brain interprets the sensations it’s flooded with.
The physiology:
Pupil dilation, faster heartbeat, blood pressure shifts, it's your body syncing with a huge internal shift.
Sometimes nausea, sometimes nothing at all, but physical reactions are common.
On the emotional side:
You might feel panic or anxiety or euphoria and awe, like being tiny but connected to something vast.
It’s not just the mind, it’s your entire being opening up.
That’s what really lands:
The experience isn’t just mental; it’s holistic. Your body and spirit both signal the shift.
This makes me wonder:
What else do we overlook about transformative moments?
