Freedom aint Free. It comes with a price. That price is knowledge. Today I wanted to share the 3 phases of financial freedom planning. No strings attached. Over the weekend I was speaking at a local church and one of the members asked me "Where do I start". Here is my answer. If your goal is to become financially free then you must learn to live off your assests and not your labor. To build a strong portfolio you need to think like a home builder. Start with a strong foundation of protection (life insurance, disability insurance, long term care insurance) Then proceed to the accumulation phase. Max out your tax deferred options to your company match, and build the rest of the portfolio with tax advantaged investment stratgies. Finally begin the long climb to wealth. This part of the strategy requires focus. I teach my clients to focus on building a $2,000,000 portfolio. This assest will create the income you need to buy your freedom. Now with the time, money, and focus you can start to build your wealth. Top it off with your Family Trust and you may have just created something that your family has never seen. You focused on them.
