Meet our interns!

The Trust Company of Tennessee is always eager to employ the brightest and best interns to assist us in meeting our clients’ goals. We’re having a great time working with these four interns on meaningful projects.

Casey Lenihan, Marketing Intern
Casey is from Connecticut and is a senior at the University of Tennessee majoring in marketing and sales. Reporting to Joanna Gager, she assists with our communication efforts, analyzes departmental data, and supports internal and external event planning.

Ella Mahboubi, Human Resources Intern
Ella is from San Diego, California, and is a senior at the University of Tennessee majoring in Human Resource Management. Reporting to Ashley Bearden, she assists with recruiting and interviewing, as well as enrolling new employees in our generous benefits program.

Kristen Hood, Investment Analyst Intern
Kristen is from Maryville, Tennessee, and is a senior Honors Finance student at the University of Tennessee. Reporting to Miranda Carr, she supports the Investment Department by understanding our investment solutions, researching markets and managers, and providing analysis to help our clients reach their goals.

Gavin Wride, Law Clerk
Gavin is from Provo, Utah, and is a J.D. Candidate at the University of Tennessee College of Law. Reporting to Kathryn Waddell, he works on interpreting trust instruments, conducts trust related legal research, and provides invaluable general legal support.

We’re proud to announce that our team members raised nearly $143,000 in pledges and gifts for United Way of Greater Knoxville during our annual internal campaign in October. Our Knoxville team enjoyed a garage sale, bake sale and a raffle while making pledges for donations.

UWGK supported or served 655,482 members of our community last year.
