These two people love each other without a doubt! You can see it on their face. Unfortunately, one of them will pass away first. I recently had a client whose husband passed away. She lost her social security and two pensions of his totaling $1,700 a month. Their IRA's had about $100,000 in them which could have replace some of the income but it would have been very tight. When they first came to see me I advised them to keep the life insurance they already had in place. This widow will now live very comfortably month to month and have a large cusion because of the life insurance. Does your family have a plan for survivorship income?
