I was planning on posting some pics & videos from a great morning with my son at Union Station. That can wait for another day.

Life is precious.

We humans are a facinating species.

So much Light & dark….in all of us.

As hundreds of thousands of us were enjoying perfect weather & celebrating, there were others in such pain (anger, frustration, anxiety)….so disconnected from who they really are that they decided to react to their pain by attempting to inflict pain on others.

It’s obviously not the first or last time this will happen.

Millions of humans have done this to millions of other humans for thousands of years at some level.

We have so much Light in us….and dark.

The contrast is startlingly at times. It hit hard being so close to it today.

My thoughts & prayers certainly extend to the innocent victims 🥲🙏🏼

And for sure those who are hurting so bad they want to hurt others need some Light & Love….and deep healing….❤️‍🩹 as we all do at Soul level.

May I…may we all let our Natural State of Light & Love find the dark corners of our hurt, fear & pain….individually & collectively 🙏🏼

The easiest (laziest) way to think is in “all or nothing” & black & white extremes.

The dark doesn’t care if you agree with Tucker interviewing Putin or not, just that you think in absolutes & view it as all “bad” or “good”.

Light & Love views the world through the lens of Onenesd, dark through separation.

New topic to distract. Same process for thousands of years.

Religion vs religion ironically in the name of God
Gender
Sexual orientation
Left vs right
On & on and on

Just an invitation to remember it takes spiritual, emotional & mental health & mature to see things as they are…typically on a spectrum.

As you consider New Year’s Resolutions, I would invite you to remember the great majority of challenges (weight loss, making money, better relationships) are symptoms, not the root cause.

The presenting problem is never the “real” problem or root cause.

Most psychology, religion, self help, coaching & personal development is focused on symptom relief.

True, deep & long lasting sustainable positive change & growth comes from going all the way upstream to the root cause

The great news is, once you do so, it will have a massive positive impact on every aspect of your life - your physical, mental, relational, spiritual & financial wellness.
