GET OFF EXEMPT, Y’ALL!

Tax season is approaching, and some of y’all need to go ahead and update those W-4s!

Let me explain something because I don’t want y’all disappointed when it’s time to file.

When you claim EXEMPT, you’re telling your employer not to withhold federal income taxes from your paycheck.

If you don’t qualify for exempt status, you could end up OWING the IRS instead of receiving the refund you expected.

And just because you have dependents doesn’t automatically mean you’re getting a refund!

Let’s be clear: There is no six-month rule for claiming exempt. You must actually qualify, and claiming exempt doesn’t automatically disqualify you from receiving a refund.

Don’t spend all year enjoying that bigger paycheck just to be confused when those tax numbers start looking crazy!

This past summer and now heading into fall, I’ve been working behind the scenes building something bigger than myself. From strengthening my business to expanding my brand, putting systems in place, and preparing for the upcoming tax season, I’ve been BUSY!

One thing I’m especially proud of is that Tax Haus Solutions has officially welcomed 10 new tax professionals (PTIN contractors) to the team! 🥹🖤

What started as an opportunity for me to earn an income while being home with my daughter has grown into something with a much bigger purpose. I know firsthand what it’s like to want financial freedom without having to sacrifice being present for your family. That’s one of the reasons I decided to branch off and build my own company. I wanted to create opportunities for other people to learn, grow, and build something of their own while having the support I wish I had when I first started.

And we’re just getting started!

While we assist with various tax situations, my specialty is helping entrepreneurs, self-employed individuals, and small business owners navigate their taxes with confidence.
