Noack & Company CPA’s traded our calculators for fishing rods over the weekend! We took some of the team out for an incredible inshore charter trip, and it turns out our crew is just as sharp at hooking snook as they are at crunching numbers. Everyone brought their A-game to the water, and we had an absolute blast catching fish and enjoying some great team bonding.Check out some of our top catches from the trip below! 👇🎣

Renewing Your ITIN—Don’t Let It Expire

⏰ Did You Know ITINs Can Expire?
If your ITIN hasn’t been used on a U.S. tax return for 3 consecutive years, or falls into certain IRS-issued ranges, it may no longer be valid.

An expired ITIN can cause:
❌ Delays in selling your property
❌ Rejected tax filings
❌ Withholding issues at closing

🔁 Renewing before you need it = fewer headaches later.
As a Certified Acceptance Agent, we can:
✔️ Verify your original documents in-office
✔️ Prepare and submit your renewal correctly
✔️ Eliminate the need to mail passports to the IRS

👉 If you’re planning to sell, refinance, or file U.S. taxes—now is the time to check your ITIN status.

Why a Certified Acceptance Agent Matters

✨ Not All ITIN Services Are Created Equal ✨
When you work with an office that has a Certified Acceptance Agent (CAA), you get:
✅ Faster IRS processing
✅ No mailing of passports or original IDs
✅ Fewer IRS rejections
✅ One-on-one guidance from a tax professional

🚨 Trying to buy or sell a home without an ITIN—or with an expired one—can trigger withholding, closing delays, or last minute panic.

We specialize in ITINs for foreign buyers and sellers, and having a CAA on-site saves you time, stress, and costly mistakes.

🏡 Buying or Selling U.S. Real Estate as a Foreigner?
You’ll likely need an ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number).

An ITIN is used by the IRS to track U.S. tax obligations when you’re not eligible for a Social Security number. If you earn U.S. income—or buy or sell property here—you’ll need one to:
✅ File U.S. tax returns
✅ Report rental income
✅ Complete a real estate sale
✅ Avoid delays or IRS compliance issues

💡 Without an ITIN, closings can be delayed—or even stopped.
The good news? We handle ITINs in-office with our Certified Acceptance Agent, making the process smooth and secure.

📩 Message us to find out if you need an ITIN before your transaction.

Bottles, blankets… and bank accounts?! 😄🍼

Newborns arriving in 2025 can start life with a special savings account right from day one. Turns out “baby steps” can be financial too! 💸👣

To get it set up, parents just need to make the election when filing their taxes, and eligible families can receive a one‑time government contribution (up to $1,000) to jump‑start the account.

Tiny humans. Big futures. 💕✨

New No Tax on Overtime… but Your W‑2 Didn’t Get the Memo 😂

The new tax bill says overtime pay may get special tax treatment.
Your W‑2 said: “I’ll just guess.”

So far, we’ve seen overtime:
✅ Reported correctly
❌ Reported incorrectly
🤷‍♀️ Hidden in random boxes like it’s in witness protection

Moral of the story? Do not trust the W‑2 alone.
👉 Pro tip: Grab your final pay stub for the year and send it to your CPA. That pay stub is the receipt that proves what was actually overtime — and it helps make sure you don’t lose out on a deduction you’re entitled to.
📂 Save it.
📤 Send it.
💰 Keep your money where it belongs (in your pocket!).

If taxes feel confusing this year… you’re not imagining it. We’ve got you.
