✓ Computer literate and eager to develop practical accounting skills

Graduates
✓ Completed relevant accounting qualification
✓ Proof of qualification or academic results
✓ Previous work experience, if applicable
✓ Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence will be advantageous

Directors and members must personally attend these inspections, whether held at the business premises or virtually. An accountant or representative cannot attend on their behalf.

INCOME TAX FILING DEADLINE
23 October 2026

The deadline for non-provisional individuals to submit their 2026 income tax returns is approaching.

Taxpayers who received an auto-assessment and agree that all information is correct do not need to submit a return.

Provisional taxpayers have until 22 January 2027 to file.

SARS administrative penalties can become costly when tax returns remain outstanding.

For failure to submit a required return, fixed administrative penalties may range from R250 to R16 000 per month, depending on taxable income, and may recur monthly while the non-compliance remains unresolved.

Trusts are also now affected. From 4 May 2026, SARS began imposing administrative penalties on trusts with outstanding ITR12T returns for the 2024 tax period onwards.

Keeping tax returns up to date can help prevent unnecessary penalties and ongoing compliance issues.
