Ian joined Schaaf CPA Group in March 2026 & brings more than 10 years of tax and accounting experience from firms including PwC, EY, and Grant Thornton. He earned his degree in Business Economics from UCLA & has a Master of Business Taxation from USC.
After spending the last 14 years in Los Angeles, Ian and his wife, Crystal, are excited to be back home in Carmel, Indiana, along with their two Boston terriers, Ermie and Louie.
We look forward to the expertise and care Ian will bring to our clients and team. Welcome, Ian!

Today we had the joy of celebrating Candi’s retirement at the amazing Angry Donkey in Michigantown.

Candi’s wisdom, support, and friendship have meant so much to our team over the past 14 years. We’ve learned a lot from her.

Today is the day! Our office will be closing at 5 pm today!
The Westfield Post Office will close at 6:30 pm. To guarantee proof of timely filing/payment by the IRS or Indiana, ensure you mail your returns/payments via “certified mail with return receipt or make your payments online (and print the payment confirmation). If we are e-filing your returns then we will make sure they are submitted to the taxing authorities by the deadline.
