Work hard, play hard! The Iowa State Fair set a new attendance record this year with 1,218,834 visitors, and our team definitely helped make it happen. Last week they traded the office for the fairgrounds to celebrate Family Fun Month - enjoying delicious food, thrilling rides, and great company☀️🥨

Today is National Non-Profit Day💪Which just gives us another chance to talk about Alex's Lemonade Stand

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) is a nonprofit born from one little girl’s lemonade stand that now fights childhood cancer on a national scale. ALSF funds research that brings better treatments and cures to kids, and provides immediate emotional, financial and logistical support to families. Childhood cancer is devastating for families, and ALSF’s combined focus on research and family services makes a real, life-changing difference.

We at Northwestern Mutual are proud to partner with and support ALSF. Through the Northwestern Mutual Foundation, we combine financial support, volunteerism, thought leadership and community partnerships to create lasting impact. Nationally, we’re focused on curing childhood cancer; locally, we invest in education, neighborhoods and our hometown of Milwaukee. We love this partnership and are deeply grateful to stand with ALSF as they bring hope and help to families when they need it most!

Recently, our College Financial Representative, Dylan Grandon, proudly represented Team USA at the FISU Games in Lima, Peru. Dylan competed in the 800m, winning his heat and finishing second overall. At the last minute he was added to the 4x400m relay team, a decision that helped secure a gold medal for the squad. We’re extremely proud of Dylan’s accomplishments both on the track and in the office this summer. Go Team USA! 🇺🇸
