Our annual Impact Day brought our teams together to deliver comfort, care, and celebration across Central Iowa. In the Urbandale Board Room, volunteers crafted tie blankets, each paired with an encouraging note, for pediatric cancer organizations including Breslyn’s Blankets of Love, Children’s Cancer Connection, and Ronald McDonald House Charities as “Welcome Blankets” at the Ronald McDonald House. At the Network Office, colleagues made fleece beds for Animal Lifeline of Iowa, providing a warm place to rest for special-needs cats and dogs. Teams also assembled Birthday Party Bags for WayPoint Resources, ensuring families can mark their children’s milestones with joy and dignity, even when budgets are tight.
Beyond our offices, volunteers cared for shared spaces and neighbors in meaningful ways. Teams picked up litter during a park cleanup and respectfully gathered Memorial Day flags at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery. At Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Iowa, volunteers baked sweet treats for dozens of guests, adding a touch of home during difficult times. Company-wide, handwritten notes of gratitude were prepared for first responders, to be delivered by our Philanthropy Committee. Together, these actions strengthened our community, honored those who serve, and underscored our commitment to service with heart and professionalism.
