Meet Laura! 🎉
Laura has been a Wealth Advisor at Harvest Point® Wealth Management for almost 4 years now. Previously, she was a Wealth Advisor for 5 years at another firm where she also had spent 3 years working on the tax side as a CPA. She grew up in the Des Moines area and went to Drake University, so it has been especially meaningful to her to build her career and serve clients in the community she has always called home.
What she enjoys most in her role at Harvest Point®:
I enjoy helping clients reach their financial goals while aligning their faith, finances, and future to create a plan that reflects what matters most to them.
Outside the office:
When I’m not at work, you’ll usually find me busy with my four kids—taking them to their activities, cheering them on from the sidelines, and making the most of the time we have together. We love watching and playing soccer, going on bike rides, and staying active as a family. At home, I enjoy working on house projects, baking fresh bread, and crocheting. Most of all, I love the everyday moments spent with my family and creating memories together.
Something people might not know:
I played soccer at Drake University, where soccer also played a role in how my husband and I met. We got to know each other while playing soccer on the beach during a mission trip to the Dominican Republic. Soccer has been a big part of my life and it continues to be as our kids are loving soccer as well.
Currently enjoying:
I got into crocheting the beginning of this year. It helps me slow down and focus while creating something that is tangible. Plus it's fun to see the joy on my kids' faces as I give them the blankets, hats, and stuffed animals that I have made for them.
