Thank you to Greater Freeport Partnership for all that they have done and continue to do to make Freeport so wonderful!

Here is the OFFICIAL schedule for Stephenson County’s largest holiday event, Mistletoe Walk! Mistletoe Walk events will be taking place from 12:00 to 5:00pm on Saturday, November 21st in downtown Freeport. ❤️

We have several events returning to Mistletoe Walk this year:

-Catch a Carriage ride from 12-4pm. Our horse-drawn 🐎 carriage will take you on a ride through downtown Freeport stopping at The Exchange (223 S. Chicago) and REMAX (2 W Stephenson)

-See a living window from 3:30-4:30pm. Live actors will be acting out Christmas scenes in different business windows. 🎁 Stay tuned for a full list of living window locations!

-Pictures with Santa 🎅 and Mrs. Claus 🤶 from 12:30-5pm at Karcher Pocket Park

-Grab some free smores from 12-5pm at Karcher Pocket Park courtesy of Freeport Martial Arts and Progressive Fighting Concepts 🍫

-End the night with Freeports annual tree lighting at 5pm at Stephenson County Court House (15 N. Galena Ave) 🎄

New this year we have Mistletoe Village in Karcher Pocket Park at 17 W. Stephenson St.:

- Live Reindeer 12-2pm 🦌 Say hi to the reindeer near Santa and Mrs. Claus

-Letters to Santa 12-5pm. Kids can write their letters to Santa and drop it in the mailbox. ✉️

-Santa’s Sips 12-5pm. Hot cocoa and hot c***r for sale, boozy upon request! ☕️ It is a festival district day, so you can still explore downtown with your drinks.

While official Mistletoe Walk festivities take place from 12:00–5:00 PM, there's plenty to enjoy in downtown Freeport all day long! Many local businesses offer shopping, special promotions, and activities outside of event hours, so be sure to check with individual businesses for their schedules. Make a day of it by coming downtown early for breakfast or lunch, enjoying the festivities, and sticking around afterward for dinner at one of Freeport's local restaurants!

💻 Online ordering is now available! You can place an order online for pick-up only at Cheesescapes.cloveronline.com.

We have all of our sandwiches, salads, schmearables, beverages, pretzels and pretzel crunch available to order, as well as our mini, small and medium charcuterie boards and boxes! The small and medium charcuterie boards and boxes will require a 1.5-hour lead time to pick up in store day of, but the mini boxes are always stocked and available anytime of the day! The last time to place an order for a Charcuterie Board is 2:30pm for pick-up before we close at 4:30pm. If you wish to place an order for a future date for a Charcuterie Board, you can message on Facebook or inquire through our normal website.

Our full-service catering menu will be available at the end of October, but in the meantime, you can place an inquiry for a Grazing Table on our normal website.

It makes my cheesy heart so happy that you all are loving our Mini Charcuterie Boxes! These are made fresh and stocked each morning in our grab & go cooler and make a great lunch or afternoon snack. They include a variety of cheeses, salami, fresh fruit, nuts, dried fruit and crackers. We always have Gluten Free crackers on hand and would be happy to swap out if necessary!

With today being our first Saturday open, we’re going to be offering a limited menu. Starting in November we will have a special brunch-type menu for the Saturdays that we’re open. See below for today’s offerings that we’ll be serving from 9a-1p *while supplies last!*

Online Ordering Update 💻

We’re putting the finishing touches on online ordering and need to push it’s availability back one more week! We want to make sure we’re creating the best possible experience for both our customers and our team, and we’d rather take a little extra time to get it right than rush the process.

Online ordering will officially be available starting Tuesday, October 20th! Thank you for your patience as we continue to work out the kinks and get everything running smoothly!

Cheesescapes Eatery Menu!

Updated -▪️Online ordering for our lunch menu will be available beginning Tuesday, October 20th.

▪️We will begin rotating in seasonal items in the next couple weeks and soup will be available beginning in November.

▪️Our different sized Charcuterie Boards & Boxes available will be available for online ordering next week for same day pick-up with a 2 hour notice.

▪️We will also be introducing Freeport Pretzel Co. 🥨Pretzel Packs🥨 that come in a pack of 6 or 12 with dipping sauce that will be available for online ordering.
