It’s Who’s Who Wednesday—time to itemize the legends, deduct the nonsense, and reveal who’s truly earned their place in today’s spotlight.

This week we’re featuring Barb Richards —proof that you can escape Illinois winters if you try hard enough. After 13 years accounting at the University of Illinois, she headed to Tucson in ’98 and has been preparing taxes ever since. She’s an Enrolled Agent, a pro with nonresident returns, and when she’s not sorting out your deductions, she’s literally building furniture. 🌟 Who’s Who Wednesday: Meet Our ITIN Specialist! 🌟

Today we’re shining a spotlight on one of the incredible people who helps keep our community supported and informed. Say hello to Daniel, our go‑to expert for ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) assistance.

Daniel Brito E.A. C.A.A.

I was born in Cuernavaca, Mexico and grew up in Guerrero, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from the Autonomous University of Guerrero and completed postgraduate studies at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). I moved to Arizona in 2017 and spent several years working with a nonprofit organization supporting immigrant youth and families. During that time, I began helping friends and community members better understand their tax returns, which inspired me to pursue a career in taxation.

I am now an Enrolled Agent and Certified Acceptance Agent, providing tax preparation services and assisting individuals and families with obtaining or renewing their ITINs. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and enjoy helping clients understand their tax situation so they can feel confident about their filings.When I’m not working, I enjoy studying tax topics, learning new skills, and spending time with my family.
