This week, FSMTB is proud to have co-hosted the National Convening: Human Trafficking in Illicit Massage, along with The Network, the National Association of Attorneys General, and LETAC USA.
January is National Human Trafficking Prevention Month, a vital time to shed light on human trafficking in illicit massage—one of the most prolific and misunderstood forms of human trafficking in the United States.
This two-day gathering brought experts together to collaborate on solutions, enhance understanding, and share best practices to combat this pressing issue.
Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery that often exploits gaps in oversight, licensing, and education. FSMTB remains dedicated to upholding standards and protecting the integrity of massage therapy regulation.
