This is the text of a letter sent to all clients:

We hope all is well with you and you are enjoying the holiday season.

As tax season approaches, we wanted to touch base with you on our long established tax preparation process and our tax preparation experience.

We have always worked as a team here. Every tax return is essentially done twice by two different experienced accountants to ensure accuracy.

First, all your tax documents are organized and scanned by an administrative assistant so that we have copies indefinitely. Then the first accountant inputs all the information, undertakes an in-depth analysis of the return to maximize tax savings and accuracy, does a two year comparison with the previous year, contacts you if there are any questions or concerns, performs one final review, and finally produces the completed tax return.

Your return is then handed to a second experienced accountant who reviews all the entries and repeats the rest of the process. If there are any potential issues, the two accountants meet to discuss and resolve the issues.

That is when the return is finalized and ready for pick-up, mailed, or emailed to you for review and signing.

Our tax preparation team consists of 6 seasoned tax professionals who are all senior accountants, enrolled agents, or CPAs with the following years of full tax preparation experience: 5 years, 12 years, 15 years, 25 years, 33 years, and 41 years. Our office manager has been here 33 years.

If you did not know, we took over the firm in April. We have been accountants here for 12 years (Jeremy) and 15 years (Greg).

On a more personal note, we dearly miss Dad but are deeply honored to continue his legacy.

We are pleased to announce that J. Howard Zwicker, CPA has joined our firm.
Mr. Zwicker has owned his own CPA firm in South Yarmouth, MA since 1986. Howard previously worked as an accountant here at James F Bogle, CPA PC before opening his own practice and has stayed in close contact with us over the years. In his thirty-three plus years of experience, Howard has developed expertise in serving his clients with their tax, accounting, and consulting needs. His practice areas include personal, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax preparation as well as compilation services. Howard is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
We are further pleased to announce that Carol Hazelton, Senior Accountant has also joined the firm.
Carol has worked with Howard since 2015 as his Senior Staff Accountant. She has 25 years of accounting experience working at CPA firms on Cape Cod. Her expertise includes personal, corporate, and partnership return preparation as well as bookkeeping.

As I believe most of you know, Dad passed away in March.
Dad founded the business in 1974 and devotedly served his clients for 45 years.
Greg and I have taken over the firm and are honored to continue his legacy.
Bob Beauchemin, CPA and Jim Leighton, CPA will be staying on.
Every return here has always been done at least twice by two different accountants to ensure accuracy.
