Key 2026 Inflation Adjustments:

Standard Deduction: Increased to $32,200 for married couples filing jointly and $16,100 for single filers.

Retirement Contributions: The 401(k) limit increases to $24,500 ($8,000 catch-up for age 50+), and the IRA limit is $7,500 ($1,100 catch-up).

HSA Limits: Increased to $4,400 for self-only and $8,750 for family coverage.

Business Mileage Rate: Increased to 72.5 cents per mile.

Child Tax Credit: Maximum credit remains $2,200 per child, with the refundable portion up to $1,700.

Hello, my name is Robyn Ferch, owner of Ferch Financial. I want to tell you why I decided to start a tax business. I have always wanted to do taxes and become an accountant since I was about 12.
