📊 Financial reports are more than numbers on a page.

They tell a story about what's happening inside your business.

Maybe one expense category has been steadily increasing. Maybe revenue is consistent, but certain months require more careful planning. Or maybe your business has grown enough that it's time to reconsider how you're managing the books.

Accurate bookkeeping gives you the information needed to recognize those patterns.

At DelMastro Bookkeeping Solutions, I believe business owners should be able to understand their numbers, not just receive a report.

Beyond the books. Better financial understanding.

💡 Your bank balance and your bookkeeping records should agree.

That's one of the reasons monthly bank reconciliations are so important.

A reconciliation helps identify things like:

✔️ Duplicate transactions

✔️ Missing expenses or deposits

✔️ Bank fees that haven't been recorded

✔️ Transactions entered incorrectly

When your accounts are reconciled regularly, you have a much more reliable foundation for financial reporting.

It's not the most exciting part of running a business, but it's an important one!

⛪ Does your church have a clear picture of its designated funds?

When someone gives toward a specific ministry, building project, or other designated purpose, it's important to know how those funds are being tracked and used.

Clear bookkeeping helps church leadership distinguish funds available for general operations from money set aside for specific purposes.

Good stewardship begins with accurate information.

DelMastro Bookkeeping Solutions specializes in helping churches maintain organized financial records and understandable reports.

📩 Let's talk about your church's bookkeeping needs.

📚 Is your bookkeeping keeping up with your business?

When you're first starting out, keeping track of your own income and expenses might be manageable.

But as your business grows, so do the transactions, accounts, receipts, and financial responsibilities.

Eventually, the time you spend keeping your books organized may be better spent running your business.

At DelMastro Bookkeeping Solutions, I help small business owners maintain accurate, organized financial records without having to manage everything themselves.

Your business deserves bookkeeping that grows with you!

Church leaders have enough responsibilities without having to become bookkeeping experts, too.

Pastors and church leadership are focused on ministry, serving their congregations, caring for their communities, and planning for the future. My current church clients are consistently working 7 days a week because caring for their congregations doesn't stop when they want a day off.

Financial information should help support those responsibilities, not create additional confusion.

Clear financial reporting can help leadership understand:

• Whether regular giving is covering operating expenses.
• How ministry spending compares with the budget.
• Which funds are designated for specific purposes.
• Whether upcoming expenses need additional planning.

And those reports shouldn't require an accounting degree to understand.

I believe good church bookkeeping involves more than keeping the records accurate.

It also means making financial information accessible and useful to the people responsible for stewardship

Before I became a bookkeeper, I spent 11 years as an all-source intelligence analyst in the Army.

That might seem like a pretty big career change. 😂

But I've realized the two fields have something important in common.

As an intelligence analyst, I gathered information, evaluated patterns, identified potential concerns, and prepared assessments to help leadership make informed decisions.

Today, I work with financial information instead.

I enjoy making sure accounts reconcile and transactions are recorded correctly.

But what I especially enjoy is looking at the bigger picture.

Why did expenses increase?

What changed from last month?

What does this financial information tell us about how a business is operating?

Different industry. Different information. A surprisingly familiar way of thinking.

That new piece of equipment might help your business grow. But can your business comfortably afford it?

Whether you're considering a new work truck, commercial equipment, or an expensive tool, there's more to consider than the purchase price.

A business owner may need to think about:

• The down payment or upfront cost.
• Monthly financing payments.
• Maintenance, insurance, and operating expenses.
• How much additional revenue the purchase might help generate.
• Whether enough cash will remain available for regular business expenses.

Sometimes the right decision is to purchase now.

Sometimes it's better to wait.

And sometimes a different option makes more financial sense.

The important thing is having reliable numbers to evaluate the decision.

That's one of the reasons I enjoy working with business finances. The numbers aren't just historical records. They can help business owners think through what comes next.
