With a purple mohawk and covered in tattoos, Ben enjoys breaking the mold of what people expect when they hear the words ‘Accountant & ‘debt coach.’ He is a nerd at heart, sporting two full Star Wars sleeves and two leg sleeves in progress

, featuring a cosmic horror/space exploration design, as well as an undersea realism piece inspired by the USS Tang. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with Nate, playing Xbox, board games, golf, pickleball, building LEGO sets, painting, listening to music (mostly Synthwave and European metal), attending concerts, and planning their next trip. A voracious reader, he enjoys zombie horror and non-fiction history as his favorite subjects. He holds two bachelor’s degrees from Western Governors University in Business Administration (2024) and Accounting (2025) and plans to pursue his CPA license in 2026 to continue his professional education & training. His office crew includes Revan, the super-cuddly Craigslist senior cat, and Zelda, the equally cuddly rescue dog, who takes her job as morale officer very seriously while also being concerned about everything.

I'm Ben Suhodolsky, founder of Compass.

I’m excited to announce the official launch of Compass Debt Strategies LLC, a long-time dream that began years ago while I was working in recovery collections.

Compass offers personalized, strategic support for individuals navigating overwhelming debt. Our flagship Debt Navigation Plan is a fully customized, end-to-end strategy program that analyzes our clients' entire debt landscape, identifies the most effective resolution path, and provides six months of structured guidance, accountability, and real-time strategy adjustments to help them navigate every stage with clarity and confidence.

We also offer focused 1:1 services, including negotiation coaching, on-call creditor support, settlement review, and credit report strategy.

The past 18 months have been a major personal and professional journey, encompassing the completion of two undergraduate degrees and my successful career transition into Accounting & Tax Services at Fortify CPA & CFO Services LLC, where I continue to grow professionally while building Compass and work towards my CPA license by mid-2027.

Launching this business is truly a dream realized, and I’m grateful for the chance to help others navigate debt with structure, stability, and confidence.
