Some of the best investments we’ve made have nothing to do with insurance or retirement planning. They're in young women who are just starting to figure out who they want to be.

That's why Upper Cumberland Life & Health is sponsoring two young women through the Juniorettes club this year.

Juniorettes gives girls a place to practice leadership before anyone hands them a title. They serve their community, learn to run a meeting, and build friendships that push them to try new things.

Sponsoring a Juniorette covers membership, so a girl who might not have joined can. We look forward to seeing our future leaders grow & learn!

We had so much interest in our 2026 Angel Tree/Christmas Assistance program that we can no longer accept applications. But, thankfully, we are able to approve ALL the applications we have received so far 💜💛💙💛

Medicare has four parts. Most people can name maybe two.

$202.90 — that’s the standard Part B premium in 2026. But what does it get you?

Here’s the plain-English version:

• Part A covers hospital stays. Most people get it premium-free if they worked 10 years.
• Part B covers doctor visits and outpatient care. You pay that $202.90 monthly premium.
• Part C is Medicare Advantage — private plans that bundle A and B, and usually Part D. 51.1% of Medicare enrollees are in these plans.
• Part D covers prescription drugs. There’s a $2,100 cap on out-of-pocket drug costs this year.

That’s the whole alphabet. Medicare doesn’t have to feel like a foreign language. We make it easier to understand!

Heading into your Medicare review? Here's what to have in hand.

Four things make the whole appointment run smoothly.

Your list of doctors, so we can check who's in network for the plans you're considering.

Your list of medications, so we can see what you'd actually pay for them next year.

Today, October 15th, is the first day of the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP), and it runs through December 7th.
