I was easily one of the most talented in the building at my last corporate job, I quit 2 and half years ago been my own boss ever since because only you know your true worth, and they tried to pay me 40k a year with benefits as a college grad? As a young black man, they think we’re supposed to be grateful just to be in the building ? Almost 50k in debt once interest hits? That’s an entry-level job—what was the point of going to school? That’s a McDonald’s manager salary while we were easily doing 80k+ worth of work. Let what they offer you show how much they value you. That’s why our job program is so dominant in this market—we’re not letting anyone settle for less. Everything happens for a reason.
