Peak Profit You've outgrown your bookkeeper but you're not ready for a $200K+ CFO hire. That's what fractional CFO services are for. You built it. We'll watch the numbers.

Real financial leadership for businesses doing $1M+, in plain English. We do bookkeeping for one type of business: specialty contractors. HVAC. Plumbing. Electrical. Handymen. Guys running crews, managing job costs, and trying to figure out why busy doesn't always mean profitable. We set up your books the way a contractor's books should work — with job costing built in, overhead tracked correctly, and a monthly report in plain English. You stay on the job. We watch the numbers. No shoeboxes. No suit-speak. No tax-time ambushes.

Most people leave a W2 job chasing freedom.

What they find is more work and more stress than they planned for.

I help people figure out the minimum they need to cover their bills each month and build from there.

The goal is running the business, not being the business.

Follow for more.

You might be the lowest-paid person in your own company and you don't even know it.

If you pay yourself whatever's left over after the bills and the crew, that number swings with the week. It has nothing to do with what the business actually owes you for your time.

Most contractors build a price for every job out of labor, materials, trucks, and insurance. Then at the end of the month they pay themselves last, from whatever's still sitting in the account. Your time running this business is a real cost, same as your techs' hours, and it belongs in your pricing and your overhead.

In almost every set of books I've opened, owner pay is the first thing that gets skipped when things are tight and the last thing anyone goes back to fix. Set a real number for what you pay yourself every week. Build it into your pricing the same way you'd build in a truck payment or an insurance bill. Then pay it like you mean it.

You may be paying for your truck out of your own pocket and you don't even know it.

Here's how it happens.

Most owners know their truck payment to the dollar. Far fewer know what the truck actually costs them.

The real cost is the truck spread over the years you'll run it, plus interest, fuel, insurance and repairs. That full number belongs in your overhead and in every price you quote.

Leave it out and your bids come in too low. The job looks profitable on paper, but the truck that got you there gets paid for out of what you thought you kept.

Pull up what your trucks really cost you this year. Then check whether your prices cover it.

There are three main parts of your accounting when it comes to your business.

The first is your bookkeeping, and it looks backwards at what happened last month.

Then your CPA comes around at tax time, or maybe for quarterly filings, and tells you how much you owe.

The fractional CFO is where I sit.

I help you strategize throughout the year to figure out how you can be more profitable.

That way you grow and scale in a way that's sustainable, and you have the life you wanted when you started your business.

You’re doing $2M a year and you still check the bank balance before you run payroll.

That’s not a sales problem. You have plenty of work. It’s that nobody is watching the money the way you watch your jobs.

Most contractors at this size have never been told what it actually costs to fix that. So they assume they can’t afford it, and they keep running a $2M business off the bank balance.

I put together realistic budgets for a Fractional CFO at $1M, $2M and $3M in revenue, with and without bookkeeping, backed by published industry pricing.

Swipe through and find your number. Then ask yourself: what is going without it costing you?

Save this for when you sit down to plan next year.

Today it’s open. 🎉

If you run a trades business, you know the two problems: the homeowner hires whoever calls back first, and you don’t really know what a job made until long after it’s done.

The Growth and Profit System fixes both:
✅ A free estimate page built for your trade
✅ Instant lead alerts to your phone, so you call first
✅ Online booking plus automatic follow-up
✅ CrewProfit to see what every job actually kept
✅ Three one-on-one CFO calls with me on pricing and owner’s pay

You won’t find another offer that ties all of this together. Marketing companies stop at leads. Accountants look at the numbers months later. This does both, and it’s live within 14 days or you can request a full refund.

I’m giving friends and the people you know first access before I run ads. Only 10 seats this release, and the first 5 get launch pricing. Once ads start, it’ll sell out fast.

Not for you? You probably know a contractor who’s busy but not keeping enough. Tag them or send this their way. 🙏

The biggest struggle I see with business owners is not knowing where their money is coming from or going.

You spend on materials for a job and have no idea when the customer is actually going to pay you back.

Then you're not sure there's enough in the account to make payroll.

The fix starts with knowing what you're charging and how long it should take to get paid.

That way, if there's a delay, you know why and who to go after.

The other big one is pricing.

If a job isn't priced right, the margin you think you have isn't there, and that turns into a cash flow problem fast.

Week 1 of my 12 Week Year is in the books, and week 2 starts today.

If you haven’t heard of it, The 12 Week Year is a book by Brian Moran and Michael Lennington. The idea is simple: forget annual goals. Treat 12 weeks like a full year, pick a few goals, plan every week, and score yourself on whether you actually did what you said you’d do. Not on results. On ex*****on.

I started midweek, so week 1 ran Wednesday to Sunday. Here’s how it went:

Score: 94.5%, 52 of 55 points. My target is 85%.

Body: Down 4.6 lbs, from 235.2 to 230.6. Hit 3 of 3 lifts, 2 of 2 walks, and stayed alcohol free every day.

Mind and spirit: 30 minutes of Bible and 30 minutes of reading every day. I read through Luke and into Acts, finished The 12 Week Year, and started DotCom Secrets by Russell Brunson.

Business: Outreach every planned day and 3 sales conversations with business owners.

What I missed: getting up on time two mornings and one late night. Small things, but that’s the point of scoring it. You see exactly where you slipped.

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤’𝐬 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞: “𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲.” 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐬 𝟐𝟏:𝟓

I’ll post my score every week through January 10. If you’re working on something big, I’d love to hear what it is.
