Yesterday, several members of our team attended the United Way of Tarrant County's Women United Annual Luncheon at River Ranch in Fort Worth, Texas. The event is a team favorite each year, and it continues to be inspiring to see the meaningful impact this luncheon has across our community through the work of the Impact Grant recipients.

It was also incredibly powerful to hear from the Resilient Women of Tarrant County panel as they shared their stories and experiences. Events like this are a great reminder of the importance of investing in and supporting our community.

Last Thursday and Friday, the SFC LLP team had the opportunity to volunteer alongside other professionals at TXCPA Fort Worth’s event held at the Dan Dipert Career and Technical Center in Arlington, Texas.

gives students from Arlington Independent School District a hands-on opportunity to experience real-world financial decision-making in a fun and interactive environment. Each participant is assigned a career, salary, and family situation, then visits different booths to navigate everyday expenses and gain a better understanding of what managing life as an adult really looks like.

Our team was proud to serve as volunteers at the event booths, helping guide participants through their choices and sharing insight into budgeting, financial responsibility, and decision-making.

We love being part of initiatives like this that help prepare the next generation with practical life and financial skills.
