On behalf of everyone at Safe Driving Matters, thank you to the sponsors, car show participants, attendees, volunteers, and community partners who helped make our first fundraiser a success.
We learned a lot and saw firsthand the incredible support that exists for our mission. Every registration, sponsorship, donation, volunteer hour, and attendee helped us take another step toward educating young drivers and preventing tragedies on our roads.
We are especially grateful to our car show participants who brought their vehicles, our sponsors who invested in the event and our mission, our volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, and our friends at Wisconsin International Raceway and other community partners who helped make the day possible.
Safe Driving Matters was founded in memory of a beloved 17-year-old daughter whose life was tragically cut short in a car crash. Events like this allow us to continue sharing her story while providing education, awareness, and resources that help keep young drivers safe.
This was just the beginning. We're already gathering feedback, celebrating what went well, and identifying opportunities to make next year's event even better.
