The 2026 CPA Basketball League is here, and Team Galíndez is ready to hit the court!

This season, members of our team are trading spreadsheets for sneakers and representing the Firm alongside colleagues from across the accounting profession. It’s a chance to enjoy some friendly competition, spend time together outside the office, and bring that Galíndez team spirit to the court.

An act of giving can make a difference in the lives of others. ❤️

Members of the Galíndez team recently joined United Way of Puerto Rico for a visit to Fundación Santa María de los Ángeles, where we delivered food and essential supplies and learned more about the work the organization carries out for children, adolescents, adults, and families.

Representing Galíndez were Víctor Pintado, Carmen I. Nieves, Ziomara Ramos and Sofía Rivera. The visit allowed our team to learn more about the Foundation’s psychological and counseling services, educational and prevention programs, and other resources available to the community.

We invite our clients, colleagues, and friends to learn more about Fundación Santa María de los Ángeles and consider supporting its work.

On August 19, our Audit, Tax, and Consulting teams came together at Universidad Universal for a full day focused on an industry we know well.

The 8-CPE-credit training covered healthcare auditing, the new Worksheet S-12 requirements, Medicare settlement audit procedures, and cybersecurity risk management, giving our professionals an opportunity to dig deeper into the financial, regulatory, and technology issues affecting healthcare providers.

Aurora Cruz, CPA; Nanny Pagán, CPA; and Derick González presented the program, with leadership and participation from Taireli Hidalgo, CPA, CHCRS; Carmen Ana Lliteras, CPA, CHCRS; Luzmary López, CHCRS; Miguel Cruz, CPA, CISA; and Javier González, CPA.

Making time to connect internally is an important part of keeping our teams aligned and focused on the work ahead.

Members of the Galíndez Tax Division management team, including Managers and Supervising Seniors, recently met at Mercado Caribe for a discussion led by Galíndez Partners Kenneth Rivera, Leví Villegas, Axel Ramírez, and Iris Otero.

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives, discuss priorities within the Tax Division, and continue strengthening communication among the team’s leadership.

Healthcare leaders and professionals from across Puerto Rico came together for the XXVI Foro Industria de la Salud, hosted by the Colegio de CPA de Puerto Rico, to discuss the financial, operational, and strategic issues affecting the healthcare sector.

Galíndez LLC was proud to support the forum as a sponsor, with members of our team participating throughout the event. Partner Henry Flores, CPA, served as a panel moderator. At the same time, Julio A.
