Our Vice Chairman cm Secretary General, Roy Lo, represented PIEAA to attend the HKICPA Spring Cocktail 2026 and The Society of Chinese Accountants and Auditors (SCAA) Year of the Horse Spring Dinner. These festive occasions provided valuable opportunities to reconnect with industry professionals and peers, and to exchange views on audit quality, talent development, and emerging market challenges. As the Year of the Horse symbolizes drive and progress, PIEAA remains committed to fostering collaboration across the profession and advancing high standards for public interest entity auditing in Hong Kong.

🎉 Hong Kong Capital Markets Forum 2026 🚀
We are proud to have successfully co-hosted the third Hong Kong Capital Markets Forum – "Capturing the Next Growth Momentum". This flagship event took place on 28 January 2026 at the Grand Hyatt and is in its third year, and continued to be part of the Asian Financial Forum (AFF) and International Financial Week (IFW). The opening speech of our Chairman, Mr Clement Chan, indicated that we gathered for a shared purpose: to explore how Hong Kong can maintain its competitive edge, enhance market sophistication, and capture the next wave of growth momentum amid an everchanging global landscape.

本會很榮幸與合辦機構成功舉辦了第三屆香港資本市場論壇《瞄準新機遇 啟動新引擎》。香港資本市場論壇作為一項旗艦活動已於1月28日在香港君悅酒店舉辦至第三屆，並繼續作為亞洲金融論壇（AFF）和國際金融週（IFW）的重點活動之一。本會主席陳錦榮先生開幕致辭表示我們齊聚一堂，秉持共同信念—探討香港資本市場如何在瞬息萬變的全球格局中持續創新、深化發展、再創高峰，鞏固其作為連結中國與世界的重要橋樑角色。

✨76th National Day Celebration Gala Dinner of the Accounting Profession🎉

On 22 September 2025, PIEAA had the great honor of co-hosting the National Day Celebration Gala Dinner of the Accounting Profession, with renowned the Association of Hong Kong Accounting Advisors (AHKAA), Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), Hong Kong Business Accountants Association (HKBAA), and The Society of Chinese Accountants and Auditors (SCAA) to celebrate the 76th Anniversary of the founding of the PRC.

The event gathered over 500 distinguished guests from the accounting industry - creating a vibrant platform for connection.

We were particularly honoured to welcome the following esteemed guests as our Guest of Honour:
• Joseph Chan, JP, Acting Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury
• Wang Songmiao, Secretary General of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the HKSAR
• Liu Xiaoming, Counselor of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in the HKSAR
…along with other respected leaders.

This event was more than a tribute to the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. It also served as a key opportunity to strengthen the bonding within the accounting community and reaffirm our shared commitment to unity and pursuit of excellence.

Greater Bay Area Conference 2025

On 22 September 2025, we were thrilled in bringing together over 250 accounting professionals, business leaders, and government representatives from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau for half a day session to brainstorm and explore further collaboration within the accounting sector for Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.

A heartfelt thank you to our co-host, the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) and our supporting partners, the Guangdong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (GDICPA) and the Union of Associations of Professional Accountants of Macau (UAPAM), for making it possible.

A major outcome of the forum was the official launch of the "Alliance of CPA Firms Dedicated to Financial and Tax Guidance for Businesses' Global Expansion". The Alliance unites 123 accounting firms across the region to create a comprehensive, cross-border support network for outbound enterprises.

The forum marks a significant step forward in professional collaboration within the region. Looking ahead, the accounting community of the Greater Bay Area will continue to working closely together to assist enterprises on their global journey and to foster sustainable regional prosperity.

2025 粵港澳大灣區論壇

2025年9月22日，我們非常榮幸地邀請到來自粵港澳三地超過250位會計專業人士、商界領袖和政府代表，在為期半天的論壇上集思廣益，探討粵港澳三地會計行業的進一步合作。

衷心感謝我們的聯合主辦單位香港會計師公會（HKICPA）以及我們的支持合作夥伴－廣東省註冊會計師協會（GDICPA）和澳門專業會計師協會聯盟（UAPAM）的鼎力支持。

論壇的重要成果是「粵港澳企業出海財稅護航聯盟」正式成立。該聯盟匯聚了粵港澳大灣區123家會計師事務所，旨在為「走出去」企業打造一個全面的跨國支援網絡。

此次論壇標誌著粵港澳大灣區會計界在專業合作方面邁出了重要一步。展望未來，粵港澳大灣區會計界將持續緊密合作，為企業國際化發展保駕護航，促進區域永續發展。
