⚠️ Watch Out for SARS Scams This Tax Season! ⚠️

As tax filing season approaches, scammers become increasingly active, sending fake emails, SMSs, and WhatsApp messages pretending to be from SARS.

🚩 Be cautious if a message:
❌ Promises an unexpected tax refund
❌ Requests your banking details or passwords
❌ Contains suspicious links or attachments
❌ Creates urgency or threatens immediate action
❌ Comes from an unfamiliar email address or phone number

✅ Remember:
• SARS will never ask for your banking password, PIN, or one-time password (OTP).
• Always access your tax profile directly through eFiling or the SARS MobiApp.
• Verify any communication before clicking on links or providing information.

If something doesn't seem right, it probably isn't.

Protect your personal information and stay vigilant this tax season.
