Do you earn more than one income? (Pension, annuity, or salary)
Many taxpayers don’t realise this:
-SARS combines ALL your income at year-end
-This can push you into a higher tax bracket
-Result? Unexpected tax bill
Example:
If you receive:
-Pension: R20,000
-Second income: R30,000
Total = R50,000/month
Even if PAYE is deducted on each separately,
It may NOT be enough when SARS combines it.
