As part of ongoing efforts to ensure a smooth Personal Income Tax Filing Season and to enable auto-assessment and pre-population of returns, we would like to highlight a critical update for the upcoming Employer Filing Season:

📌 Enforcement of Income Tax Numbers
While Income Tax numbers have been mandatory for several years, e@syFile previously allowed submissions with warnings.

This relaxation will come to an end from the February 2026 Employer Filing Season.

➡️ From this date forward, employers will not be able to submit reconciliations without including valid Income Tax numbers for all employees.
➡️ Failure to comply will result in administrative penalties.

✅ What Employers Should Do Now:
• Ensure Income Tax numbers are sourced for all employees.
• Update payroll master files accordingly.
• Avoid last-minute disruptions and penalties by preparing early.
