From ideas to impact. 🎤📚

A moment from Demo Day of the KwaZulu-Natal Social Economy Development Programme, where wehad the opportunity to present and promote the work of Great Thinkers Academy (GTA).

Through GTA Tuesdays, we continue to create space for education, youth development and community engagement — building beyond the classroom and connecting learning to real opportunities.

The vision is bigger than tutoring. It is about how education, sport and youth development can work together to make a meaningful contribution to our communities.

Building the Future of Education: GTA at the KZN SEDP Demo Day 💡🇿🇦
As part of our commitment to institutional growth and community impact, Great Thinkers Academy successfully completed the 8-month KZN Social Economy Development Programme (KZN SEDP), convened by UKZN GSBL and EDTEA. 🎓✨
Represented by our Deputy Director & Programme Coordinator, Fezile Hlope, GTA navigated the multi-stakeholder Social Labs and pitched on Demo Day, emerging as a recognized "Champion" social enterprise. This milestone accelerates our transition into a hybrid model designed to scale sustainable, outcome-based educational support. 🛠️📚
Sincere thanks to program conveners, mentors, and partners—Dr. Mlondi Vilakazi, Mr. Vikani Funda Ndlovu, Ms. Sithembile Mkhize, Mr. Patrick Mbokazi, Mrs. Thabisile Khambula, Nomfundo Msomi, and the UKZN GSBL team—for their guidance. 🙏
To our tutors, learners, and partners: everything we build is driven by excellence and student dignity. The work continues! 🚀🇿🇦🏆

💪 HOW YOU CAN

🎓 Sponsor a learner — help provide academic support and learning resources.

📖 Sponsor learning materials — help us put study guides and educational resources into learners' hands.

🤝 Become a partner — connect GTA with your organisation, business, school or community network.

👥 Volunteer your skills — tutoring, mentoring, administration, digital skills, career guidance, sport or other areas where you can contribute.

📣 Share our campaign — introduce to someone who can help, participate or open a door.

💡 Have an opportunity for young people? Send it our way.

Every contribution does not have to be big.

One learner. One resource. One hour. One introduction. One opportunity.
