For years, I struggled with my positioning because I didn’t have commercial clarity.

And the market struggles to assign value to ambiguity.

At some point, every entrepreneur has to answer two very simple questions: Who will pay you? And what will they pay you for?

The broader your answer, the more ambiguous your positioning, and the lower your sales conversion.

“I’m speaking to everyone” is the surest signal of a clarity problem.

CONFESSION SESSION

Never did I think that within three months of quietly testing our brand architecture offering we’d have a lawyer and a doctor on our books. Specialist doctor at that.

What became clear very quickly, as more practitioners turned to us to build and manage their personal brand positioning… is that title alone is no longer enough.

Not even the ones we’ve been raised to believe are “secure”. The medical, accounting, and legal professions have long been considered the most secure.

But what happens when disruption threatens the very foundation of those professions?

What happens when, instead of a $1,000 p/h lawyer you have to book weeks in advance, you can access the equivalent of an entire legal team… in the palm of your hand?

Instantly. At near-zero cost.

That is the shift AI is introducing.

So what happens next?

Because this is no longer just a legal question. It’s a positioning question:

What do YOU bring that a machine or another lawyer cannot?

That’s the lens I’m bringing to the second annual Legal Innovation Summit.

For lawyers in corporate and private practice, this is a room where legal minds work through what comes next.

Over the past six months I’ve been in a season of “say less, do more” and one of the things I’ve done is grow a team across Johannesburg and Lagos. 🌍

One of those team members is Matome Malope (centre). A former First National Bank specialist in Salesforce and cybersecurity, Matome has been the brains behind our IT infrastructure, automations and cybersecurity protocols — groundwork that lets everything else shine.

He has been a steady, invaluable presence as we onboarded clients and built behind the scenes. We could only shine because he did the work, and did it well.

Today is Matome’s last day as he moves on to an opportunity that truly honours his exceptional talent. A kind, gentle soul who has left value that will continue serving us long after his departure.

I celebrate you, Matome. 🙏🏾

For now, we keep saying less, and doing more. 😌

Ten years of building in public changes how you think about visibility.

In the beginning, it feels personal. Expressive. Organic.

Over time, you realise it carries weight.

There comes a point in a leader’s journey where public positioning becomes either an organisational asset or a liability.

Investors watch. Partners interpret.
Markets form views, often in silence, based on how you show up, what you say, and where you are seen.

The danger with purely organic exposure is the absence of a single governing logic that ensures leadership presence continues to support organisational objectives and compound authority over time.

Without it, public presence can quietly undermine the very objectives it was meant to advance.

2026: The Year of Less

Since October, I have been intentional about doing less. I have been significantly quieter on social media, reduced my Instagram footprint from 680 posts to just 83, and declined multiple speaking engagements that did not align with where I am going next.

The result has been less noise and greater clarity to lead my business in the way this next chapter requires.

ATINUDA 2025 was the inflection point. Being in close proximity to founders and decision-makers, with carefully curated off-agenda time for relationship-building, reshaped how I thought about scale and accelerated how I executed.

In the months that followed, the connections we made at simplified our expansion into Nigeria, allowing us to hire locally and establish physical presence on the ground. We clarified our offering, aligned it to the right market need, and secured multiple retainer clients as a direct result.

ATINUDA 2026 builds on the same outcomes-based design, now evolving into a week-long leadership retreat in Mauritius. Participation is application-based and curated for established founders, executives, and creatives who are ready to cut out the noise and scale across borders.

A MOTHER’S BLESSING

My one and only daughter,

You are a city set upon a hill,
a light that cannot be hidden.

You are blessed in your going out and your coming in.
Your gift makes room for you
and brings you into the presence of kings.

Wisdom walks before you,
and understanding is your companion.
Favour speaks on your behalf
in rooms you have not yet entered.

Your beauty is quiet and enduring.
You are formed for leadership and entrusted with authority.
Your leadership was destined, and you carry it with grace.

You live true to your names — Ntemi, one entrusted with authority,
and Nyasha, the manifestation of God’s grace.

God orders your steps, guards your mind,
and crowns your twenties with clarity, discipline,
and quiet confidence.

You lack nothing that is meant for you.
You do not strive for what requires rest.
You are all you were sent here to be.

May His favour be upon you for a thousand generations,
and your children,
and their children.

Happy 20th birthday, my daughter.

All my love,
Your mother
