A verse that has deeply shaped me is Luke 16:10: He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much. It reminds me that true success isn’t built in big moments, but in the small, everyday choices, how I use my time, how I handle simple tasks, and how consistent I am. Being faithful in little things shapes my character and prepares me for greater responsibilities and opportunities.”

Vietnam’s lending market is attracting growing interest, supported by strong digital adoption and a clear financing gap among individuals and SMEs. But entering the market is becoming more complex. With the introduction of a regulatory sandbox under Decree 94, alongside new AI-related requirements, investors now need to navigate tighter rules around eligibility, structuring and platform design.

The opportunity is still there, but it increasingly depends on getting the regulatory setup right from the start. Sandbox access, foreign ownership limitations and broader compliance requirements across data, AI and financial controls all play a role in shaping viable entry strategies.

Employer of Record (EOR) is often used to enter Vietnam without setting up a legal entity. The challenge is that it does not suit every business model.

While EOR offers a fast, flexible way to hire locally, its effectiveness depends on the industry, level of operational complexity and regulatory requirements. In some cases, it works well. In others, it can create limitations as operations grow.
