For most folks, the filing and tax payment deadline is Monday, April 18, 2022. If you need more time to file, simply request an extension to file. You must request an extension to file by April 18. UIA 1099-G ALERT: Programming changes related to waivers granted in 2021 means the UIA won’t be able to issue 1099-G tax forms until the end of February. The IRS provided an extension.
