Today was a fun one as we wrapped up our United Way campaign. We kicked off the day with coffee and breakfast treats and closed it out with a costume contest—our team definitely brought the creativity. Check out a few highlights!

We’re also excited to share that our internal United Way auction raised $5,323. A big thank-you to our team who participated and helped turn a great week into meaningful impact in our community.

It’s time for our annual United Way Week! Throughout the week, team member contributions will support United Way of West Central MN and United Way of Central MN—helping strengthen the communities where we live and work.

We have plenty of fun on the schedule, including bingo, a caramel apple bar, a coffee bar, and dress-up days—plus an online silent auction featuring items our team members generously donated.

A special shoutout to Kari Steinbeisser for taking the win in our inaugural 10-Key Challenge—an impressive start to the week: 20 numbers in 25 seconds with 100% accuracy.

This morning our partner Annette Benson was honored to walk the runway at Mainstream Boutique’s “Fashion for a Cause” event at Heritage Bank. Held in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, 100% of ticket proceeds benefited local cancer patients through the CentraCare Foundation.

The event featured a light brunch, fashion show, swag bags, and door prizes—and each model represented a personal breast cancer journey. Annette, thank you for sharing your story and helping support such an important local cause.

Last night, CDS was grateful to attend the Willmar Area Community Foundation's Awards in Philanthropy Celebration. It was an inspiring evening of stories, connection, and community impact.

Last week, we had a great time connecting with students at the SCSU Fall Career Fair! Kristi was joined by Hannah, a current SCSU senior and former CDS intern, who was able to share her perspective and experience with students. We also had a fun surprise when we ran into Shelby, one of our previous summer interns! It was great to catch up and see familiar faces while meeting students interested in accounting.

Our Morris team had the chance to serve at the Morris Community Meal last night, bringing students and community members together using locally sourced food. We were grateful to be part of it—and to help serve approximately 180 people.

Thank you to Tonya for coordinating with the University of Minnesota Morris Office of Community Engagement. The meal is free and open to anyone, made possible by regional sponsors and volunteers who cook, serve, and share the meal together.
