Calling all high school students who think they might want to pursue a degree in accounting: the NYSSCPA - Buffalo Chapter is hosting a two-day "Career Opportunities in the Accounting Profession" (COAP) Program at UB on June 26 & 27. All interested high school students may apply by clicking here https://bit.ly/42rF6wX. Application deadline is June 23rd. The New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants is the premier educational and CPA-skill building organization in New York State. Parents - please encourage your high schoolers to attend if they have an interest in accounting. It's a great way for them to learn the many ways in which CPAs influence the business world. We've come a long way since the "bean counters" days!
