I spent the week in Atlanta at the Amputee Coalition annual conference. I went as an official ambassador for Integrum Inc, talking with people about my experience using the OPRA implant system. The technology has been around for decades, and used around the world! With FDA approval in 2020 for above knee amputees, this amazing, proprietary system has garnered much attention, and people like to see it in action. This technology has changed my life for the better, and I had a wonderful adventure! And yes, I still have, and am passionate about, my day job!

Only 30%! I definitely thought it would be higher, but I guess there are lots of reasons why people leave their jobs. Call me if either is true, happy to discuss your options.

This is a one-year chart of the Dow Jones Industrial Average. It covers January 2011 to January 2012. In the middle, early August, you can see the "market" worrying about the debt ceiling impass. Ultimately, Standard and Poor's credit agency downgraded U.S. government debt. If you're feeling nervous, give me a call.

Do you have too much invested in international and/or emerging markets? Do you even know? This chart reflects the S&P 500 (500 large U.S.-based companies such as Amazon.com, Visa, and Home Depot) vs. large international companies, and also against emerging market companies. This is a five-year chart. The ten-year chart is even more pronounced. S&P 500 is purple, large international is light blue, etc.
