Hello everyone and thank you for following my page! 😄 I wanted to share a bio about who I am & what my background is on here so please don’t mind this semi lengthy post!
My name is Anthony Martin. I was raised & currently still reside in Wellsburg, WV.
I attended West Liberty University and obtained both my undergraduate degree (in Accounting) and my MBA (with a focus in Management).
Directly out of school I was hired by Trainer, Wright & Paterno CPA firm located in Huntington, WV as a Tax Accountant. My duties included preparing and filing individual, partnership, and S Corp tax returns, bookkeeping, payroll, reconciliation’s, and at times audit support.
After about three years at Trainer, Wright & Paterno I accepted a position at Wesbanco Bank in Wheeling, WV as an Assistant Accounting Officer. My duties here involved fixed asset entries (additions, disposals, depreciation, write-ups, and write-downs), lease entries (tracking, analyses,RoU/Liability) & reconciliations.
Again, after about three years at Wesbanco I accepted my current position with Houston Harbaugh Law Firm in Pittsburgh, PA as their Accounting Specialist. My duties include the overview of A/R, A/P, and billing, payroll, financial reports, budgeting, & GL reconciliations.
I worked part time with my previous employer Trainer, Wright & Paterno during tax season last year. This year I decided I would branch out and do my own taxes which is why I created A/M Tax Services.
