IRS had serious customer service issues before the layoffs. Then the layoffs. Backtracking at this late date, is not going to make it any better. IRS employees return upon average about 4 times their cost. Does not compute. Thought we were trying to cut the deficits not the amount of Audits for Billionaires. Who knew?🤨

The Internal Revenue Service is reportedly reversing course on some of its wide-ranging job cuts after realizing they reduced the staff too drastically.

IRS Will Lay Off Thousands Of Probationary Workers In The Middle Of Tax Season
This comes as the Trump administration intensified sweeping efforts to shrink the size of the federal workforce.

Don't look for any qualified assistance with any IRS tax notices or issues. The IRS has experienced a brain drain, as no one of any quality replaces retirees and workers just fed up with how they are being treated. No way to run a country.

Its about time. As the IRS budget has been cut year after year with an agenda to let the wealthy get away without paying taxes. Why is that one of our two political parties is always after the IRS. Could it be Wealthy Donors? Hope they hit them hard for cheating.
