If you currently use QuickBooks Desktop 2021- you have until May to upgrade to a newer version of Desktop or to convert to QuickBoooks Online. If you WANT to stay on DESKTOP you do have that option. QuickBooks sales reps will try to make you think you have to go to online- that is not the only option. I can help if you need me.

New Rules for owners of Corporations, LLC's, and other entities - more to come.. This is to help cut down on the fraudulent businesses and fraudulent business practices of people setting up shell companies to commit crimes.

EXISTING BUSINESSES: Starting Jan 2024 businesses that are already operating have one year to file business ownership information with the federal government

NEW BUSINESSES: You will be required to file within 30 days of establishing your business

I am unclear at this point as to whether the information provided to the State of Virginia when establishing a business will be sufficient or if we will need to do a seperate filing with the FinCen BOI system.

As this approaches and more information is available I will share what I learn.

We work to integrate our services with our clients business and to be team players. Providing training and guidance to business owners in interviewing,hiring and training their staff.

Having worked with most all industries we have insights and working knowledge of how to run you business and maintain useful bookkeeping and financial records. We have been working with small businesses since 2007 and love every minute of it!

QuickBooks training is a big part of our practice, especially, working with business owners who have started using QuickBooks when their business was a baby and now the business and the need to understand more about QuickBooks has grown. We can do a three hour session to get you on the right track in most cases.

We strive to be easily accessible to my clients to provide support and assistance on a timely basis.
