On Friday, I had the privilege of volunteering with Philadelphia Financial Scholars at their Teen Investors Summit. I spent the afternoon connecting with students from Philadelphia as they explored the world of investing, heard from professionals in the finance space, and built their own mock portfolios for an eight‑week investing challenge. Their curiosity, confidence, and willingness to dive into new concepts was amazing to witness.

Opportunities like this remind me how powerful financial education can be, especially when young people are given the tools and encouragement to take ownership of their futures. I’m grateful to Financial Scholars for creating spaces where students can learn, experiment, and see themselves as investors.

Looking forward to seeing how their portfolios grow — and how they continue to grow as leaders. Always an added bonus to get to spend some time with a cousin too!
