IRS extended deadlines for those impacted by hurricane Helene until May 1, 2025. Keep in mind your 2023 payments were due April 15, 2024 so if you owe, you will continue to accumulate interest and penalties.

Victims of in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and parts of Florida, Tennessee and Virginia, now have until May 1, 2025 to file various individual and business tax returns and make payments.
