Happy Heavenly Birthday, Larry! I miss you so much and today even more than ever! Can't keep the tears from flowing because it doesn't seem as though it's been this long. My heart is heavy and aching because you're not here for me to touch, hold, talk to, laugh with, kiss on or just lay my eyes on. I'm remembering ALL the good times, things, places and memories we made and shared. No matter what these will never fade! I can truly say you basically raised me to be a better person and to try and fulfill all my dreams and desires thank you for that. Sylvester Jones, 93, formerly of Waverly, Florida, died Wednesday, March 19, 2025 in Hampton, Georgia. He was born, July 4, 1931, in Barbados, W.I. He was a longtime resident of Waverly, Florida before relocating to Georgia several years ago. He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Jones, and son, Myrville (Giles) Evelyn of Barbados, granddaughters and great-grandchildren all of Georgia along with other loving family members.

When will EITC payments be received this week in March?
To claim the EITC, you must file Form 1040, U.S. Individual Income Tax Return, or Form 1040-SR, U.S. Tax Return for Seniors.

Once this process is complete, payment could arrive 21 days after filing with the IRS, and the status of your tax return can be checked online.

These are the dates on which you could receive your EITC payment this week, depending on when you filed your taxes:

February 16: Direct deposit with EITC is delivered on March 9

February 17: Direct deposit with EITC is delivered on March 10

February 18: Direct deposit with EITC is delivered on March 11

February 19: Direct deposit with EITC is delivered on March 12

February 20: Direct deposit with EITC is delivered on March 13
