the truth about the TAX "DUE DATE". In other words, what the PROPAGANDA on TV doesn't tell you.

if you KNOW you have overpaid your taxes and are due a REFUND, please save the anxiety for something else! You have THREE - 1,2,3 YEARS to file your taxes and request your money from the IRS.

If you're unsure, submit an AUTOMATIC EXTENSION to file with state and Federal. An extension gives you an additional 6 months to file with no filing penalties. However, an extension to file is NOT an extension to PAY and you will incur those along with interest if you owe additional taxes. If you think you owe you can file the extension with a payment.

To all the LATE filers, please don't call us panicking and asking us to SQUEEZE you in before the "DUE" date. We will simply ignore you. It's not necessary. You knew you had to file, you didn't book on time, and we cannot be your parent. We're simply tax accountants and we do our best to serve everyone who's booked.

My website will be available for appointments on the 23rd of January. I will begin seeing clients on the 27th of January.

There's a big push in Washington for a third round of stimulus payments. But the amount and eligibility rules for your third stimulus check could be different than for earlier payments.
