📚 NOW HIRING – PART-TIME ENTRY-LEVEL BOOKKEEPER
Perfect Payroll & Accounting LLC – Wasilla, Alaska

Perfect Payroll & Accounting LLC is looking for a reliable, honest, and dependable person to join our team as a Part-Time Entry-Level Bookkeeper.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in starting a career in accounting and wants hands-on experience in a professional accounting office. We are willing to train the right person who is motivated, detail-oriented, willing to learn, and able to follow directions.

Starting Pay: $19.00/hour
Part-Time
Location: Wasilla – near Carr’s

Duties will include:

• Entering receipts and financial transactions
• Bank reconciliations
• General and miscellaneous data entry
• Filing and maintaining client records
• Answering phones and assisting with office duties
• Entry-level bookkeeping and accounting tasks
• Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

• Reliable, honest, and dependable
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and follow established procedures
• Comfortable working with numbers and computers
• Organized and able to maintain confidential information
• Positive attitude and good communication skills
• Someone genuinely interested in developing accounting and bookkeeping skills

Previous accounting experience is not required. We are looking for someone with the right work ethic and willingness to learn.

There is room for advancement and increased responsibility as your skills and knowledge grow. This could be an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in bookkeeping, payroll, and accounting.

2026 W-2's and new requirements.

Key Federal Updates
IRS Forms W-2 and W-3 have been revised for 2026 to reflect new reporting requirements under Public Law 119-21 (OBBBA). Notable changes include:

Box 12 Reporting Codes:
Code TP: Total cash tips reported to the employer.
Code TT: Total qualified overtime compensation (only the premium portion, e.g., half-time in time-and-a-half scenarios).
Code TA: Employer contributions to “Trump accounts,” a new type of retirement account
Box 14 and 14a revisions for additional deductions and reporting requirements.
New procedures for requesting extensions to furnish W-2 copies to employees.
