Doing my taxes for 2012 and realizing how much money I was able to give adoptive families who used my book as a fundraiser for their adoption. Feels great to know God is using the book to serve many purposes to bring Him glory!!

Looking for something fun to do tomorrow with the family? Come enjoy the weather with us and spend the day at a farm. Help support our adoption/foster/orphan care ministry too! There will be farm animals (sheep shearing around 1:00pm, feeding goats, baby chicks, rabbits), kids crafts, yummy food (homemade milkshakes and pie fries) as well as many crafters. Love to see you there!!!

My friend Kelly Hetrick Raudenbush runs an awesome charity called "The Sparrow Fund" that helps adoptive families. They have a bunch of businesses partnering with them for the month of May (including me & my book) that will give them 10% of their proceeds for the entire month! check it out :)

Thank you to the Mom's Group at St. Paul's in Warrington for having me as their guest speaker yesterday! I enjoyed sharing with the other moms why I wrote the book and how God has used it in many ways I never dreamt of while writing it. :)
