More updates for companies who may be required to file BOI's: As of Dec 23, it appears we're back on for filing BOI's. The due date was extended to Jan 13, 2025. It's in the appeals process again. So, you can wait to see what happens, but be prepared to have it submitted when it's due or there may be fines associated with late filing.

On December 23, 2024, a federal court of appeals lifted the preliminary injunction blocking the reporting deadline for Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI).

Good news for business entities who haven't filed their BOI report. New deadline appears to be January 1, 2026, an extension of 1 year, while the proceedings continue toward a final decision.
