Stewart & Company was founded in 1977 to provide accounting, tax preparation, business consulting and financial planning to a wide range of businesses and individuals. Having served a wide array of clients over the years, we have gained invaluable knowledge and experience that we share with our clients. We serve clients in nearly every industry to include contractors, retailers, manufacturers, aut

omotive facilities, retailers, doctors, dentists, veterinarians, attorneys, printers, engineers and restaurateurs. Most clients come to us with similar complaints. Many have worked with an accountant before who doesn't seem to give them attention, failing to return calls or even make return filing deadlines. They feel like their accountant doesn't take a proactive approach to their business and only acts as a return preparer. Still others who have not worked with an accountant before want an active tax adviser, someone who will even take on the role of a controller or CFO, normally only found in much larger organizations. We differentiate ourselves in that we do put client service above all else. We don’t just record history, but engage ourselves in the financial affairs of our clients, providing proactive advice, always looking for ways to save our clients money. Often times, we more than pay for ourselves, saving our clients far more dollars than we charge for doing so. Many of our business clients consider us an extension of their management team, consulting with us on all aspects of their business affairs.

Spring is officially here, and while the days are getting longer and the weather is warming up, we know this season still means one thing for our team: it’s go time.

As we move into the first days of spring, we’re also heading into the final stretch of tax season. Deadlines are approaching, calendars are full, and our team is working hard to make sure every client is taken care of with the same level of attention and care we pride ourselves on year-round.

This time of year is a great reminder that growth doesn’t happen overnight. It takes consistency, effort, and a strong team behind the scenes; and we’re grateful for all three.
