Let’s talk about the part nobody explains after graduation…

You got the degree.
You got the job offer.
But you may ALSO still be living at home with your parents while trying to figure life out. 👀

And honestly? That’s more normal than social media makes it seem.

But here’s what you NEED to understand:

Your first “real” job changes your tax situation.

Your income matters now.
Your W-4 matters now.
Your student loans matter now.
And depending on your age, income, and support situation, your parents may or may not still be able to claim you.

Translation:
Everybody involved needs to understand what changed before tax season shows up with surprises. 😭
