Today, we pause to honor all the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country. Their courage, sacrifice, and commitment to protecting our freedoms inspire us every single day.

What makes this day even more special is seeing how the next generation carries on this spirit of gratitude. Each year, the students at my high school come together to honor our veterans — reminding us that appreciation, respect, and patriotism live on through our youth.

Let’s all take a moment today to reflect, give thanks, and remember that freedom is never free.
