Small Business Interruption Loans

Although the details have not been fully released, the eligible amount of the funds under this program are anticipated to be based on:

1. Payroll registers for the most recent 2.5 months
2. Utility bills for the most recent 2.5 months
3. Fixed rent or mortgage payments for the most recent 2.5 months

It’s anticipated that lenders will be overwhelmed with applications so we strongly recommend that you reach out to your current loan officer as soon as possible to determine if they are underwriting CARES Act loans and to get three months of documentation to them for the aforementioned three items as soon as possible.

The State of Connecticut is now offering short-term, no-interest bridge loans up to $75,000 to small businesses with less than 100 employees impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Connecticut Recovery Bridge Loan Program funding is available immediately through the Department of Economic and Community Development. This short-term emergency loan program has been allocated $25 million dollars and is to be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
