Advanced child tax credit payment confirmation letters are starting to arrive in mailboxes. Each parent will receive a letter and you will need both to complete your tax return.

Advanced Child Tax Credit payments gave parents up to $300 for each child from June to December 2021.
People who received payments should keep Letter 6419 mailed by the IRS to help file their 2021 tax returns.
Those who received the third stimulus check should also hold on to Letter 6475 to help file their tax returns.

The SBA has raised the limits for the EIDL advance. Many small businesses received $1,000 or more last year. They have raised this to $5,000 but there are limits:
Eligible small businesses must meet all of the following requirements to receive the $5,000 Supplemental Advance:
10 or fewer employees
In operations on or before January 31, 2020
Located in a low-income community
Must have been negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic
Must demonstrate a revenue loss greater than 50%
If you meet those👆 requirements, you'll definitely want to check this out!

If you filed a return with unemployment you do NOT need to file an amended return. The IRS will automatically make adjustments on their end. That is good news...if it works!
